Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below lists the time slots that are reserved - not exams that have been confirmed. Check with your teacher whether or not the final exam for a course will be conducted during this time.

Make sure you read the Goethe exam terms and guidelines on each exam's page prior to you register. Register for the correct level of exam.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification tests. Exam pages for each exam are available for additional guidelines, conditions and guidelines and exam content. If you require special accommodations due to chronic illness or hearing or visual impairment, you should contact the exam provider directly. Make sure to provide detailed documentation upon registration.

The Faculty Dashboard in Workday includes an option to "View My Teaching Schedule" which lets faculty find their exam schedules. In addition, the Registrar's Office has a list of exam times for classes in which an exam is required by NYSED regulations. For evening classes final exams are scheduled at the normal class time during the exam week.

Registration

The exam schedule is available on the internet, and students are advised to consult it. However it is crucial to keep in mind that the final exam schedule can be altered at any time. Students should therefore check with their instructors for the exact time and date of their test. Students should be certain to print the official list and bring it for their exams.

In addition to the exam schedule, students should also familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines, the terms and conditions. They are available on the exam's individual page. Students acknowledge having read and agree to the terms and conditions of registration.

Exam locations make every effort to accommodate students who have special needs. The nature and extent of these needs should be noted on the registration form and confirmed by an attestation from a doctor.  harmonogram egzaminów a1  of the exam must adhere to confidentiality.

If a student is scheduled to take three exams on the same day, they should contact their instructor or department to schedule a make-up test. It is possible to have three examinations on the same day. However, this can lead to a high level of stress and affect the quality. The professor might not be able to give an opportunity to take a makeup test on a different day.

Before taking the test, students must prepare by studying the syllabus and practice their German skills. The test is a test on paper that tests the ability to speak, read and write in German. The examination results are presented on a scale from A1 to C2. Students who pass the exam receive a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies the that they have achieved the level of A1 in their language. This level corresponds with the first level of the six-level scale of competence set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The test is free. Students are required to bring an ID that is valid for government purposes to the test. Those who do not have an ID with a valid photo will be disqualified from the exam.

Fees

You'll need to pay an exam fee for the opportunity to receive the Goethe-Zertifikat (start German 1) after you have completed your Elan Academy studies.  harmonogram egzaminów a1  is in addition to the course fees.



Practice tests let you get a feel for the style of the test, the language, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They help you evaluate your level, discover gaps in your knowledge and increase your chances of passing the exam.

Please note that the fee for exams is not refundable. Exam results can only by electronically sent, not via phone.
